ABOUT HUNNYPP

KJ, also known as HUNNYPP, is a digital artist specialising in character design and illustration. They are well-versed in most genres but their specialties are horror and Asian historical fantasy. They are the author and illustrator of upcoming supernatural horror comic "Midnight Hell Parade".HUNNYPP studied in Flinders University and CDW Studios and is a graduate of Creative Arts (Visual Effects and Entertainment Design), and completed an Honors degree of the same topic.

Background assets and marketing work for "The Lights I Promised You.""The Lights I Promised You" is a point and click story-driven game about Manann, a widower going on a voyage to fulfill his deceased partner Finn's final wishes to see an aurora borealis. Along the journey, he encounters the ghost of Finn and goes through a journey of grief and rekindling purpose.

A surrealist body horror visual novel that is a work in progress. The story centers around a middle-aged trans man's psychological journey after encountering a strange man in his dreams and transforming into a fleshy abnormality. Here is some of the concept work and assets done for it so far.

A supernatural horror comic as part of my Honors project. Midnight Hell Parade tells the story of Shō Nishiyama, an elderly librarian who discovers a living doll abandoned in a waterway. After the doll plants a horrific apparatus known as the "Hell Rig", Shō must use the device's abilities of immortality and contact with the spirit world to exorcise malicious spirits.Read the first two chapters and future chapters below on Tapas:
